Mango bombs
This is disconcerting. The little park, now formally named "Stoner Park" (H-Mom laughs. What kind of name is that? Visions of naughty teenagers abound.) , now has mangoes thumping down around our heads. The trees in the park are heavy with ripe mangoes, huge fruit, and they hit the ground with regularity.
Madison is vaguely interested. It is much more exciting to hunt lizards and sniff dead branches. H-Mom is considering protective head gear.
The smell of the rotting mangoes is sickeningly sweet. We don't eat them, confused and a bit put-off by the odd flavours of pinecone sap and citrus.
P.S. The beautiful little rottie girl has a new mom! She is now named "Nolly" (which we all hate, but WHATEVER) and Coach is keeping in touch to make sure that her new home is a good one! We think Coach really misses her. Maybe he will find another little rottie to take care of!

One of mom's favorite fruit is the mango! She wishes we could grow them here!
Mitch would be eating them! You could count on that, Madison! That boy loves fruit - all kinds!
Love ya lots,

Well that's certain a novel kind of ammo!
We're so delighted about the Rotte girl!!!!
Mango bombs indeed! Those do not resemble anything Mango that is in our yard.
Slobbers,
Mango
what the heck does NOLLY mean? I dont think I like it either.. BOL..But, glad she's got a new homey though, that's the best news for the little one!
Are the mangoes edible if picked from the tree? We are glad "Nolly" has a nice home, even if she has a dumb name.

hahahahahaha, Mango, we didn't think about "Mango bombs ...." Madison is snickering. :_)
Visions of concussed dog walkers found dazed & confused under the mango trees (in Stoner Park...???) Jake would probably scoff as much as possible & then wonder why he needed out in the middle of the night.
Yum yum! Madison, they are really yummy!! Are you sure you don't want to eat them?

A friend at church brings them in large shopping bags from the trees in her yard and is always trying to give them to us - but we always say no. We agree - they're just a little odd. That's great news about Nolly!
See ya!
