black friday

Things are not so busy at the gallery today. We aren't really a "Black Friday" kind of place. No sale tables, no huge discounts, no specials for the day.

But there are some things at the gallery that are BLACK. And some things that are sometimes at the gallery that are BLACK.

Niso Maman, "Female Torso," steel and black auto paint

Jacques-Philippe Hebert, "Bouteille Magique," murano glass, acrylic and epoxy on canvas

Viviane Case-Fox, "Black Bouquet," oil on canvas

Itzik Benshalom, "Seated Couple in Ebony," limited edition bronze

Madison, gallery mascot and darling of Las Olas Boulevard

Madison is at home today with the teen-human and H-Mom's son, who is 24-years old and an architect in Chicago. He is very tall and very kind and very much a dog-lover. He told the teen-human that when she takes Madison for a WALK, she should take her for a really good long walk, that she should really get into it. Sometimes he thinks that he in charge of the teen-human, even though he is just a brother.

Then he volunteered to take Madison out.

Just take off the pink collar and the pink leash, he said. He isn't a "metro" kind of guy. Man-Dad can handle the pink accessories, but the Architect put his foot down.

He was very serious about the expedition. Madison will certainly be tired when they get back.

Who cares about Black Friday when there is someone new to entertain you right at home?

That is very cute about the pink leash, but who cares if you get a really long walk out of it, right?

Madison!

Congratulations on having your own personal architect on retainer for the weekend. We'll just see how his walks compare to the teen hooman's.

While all of the black things in the gallery are bootiful in their own right, you are, by far, the most interesting of gallery loot!

Thanks for coming by to say hi. We're excited to know you better, girlie!

Goober love & smooches,
Stanley

Madison is shiny and pretty in that photo. A good long walk should tire her out quite a bit. I would not like to wear a pink collar in public.

Madison,
By far you are the most beautiful piece of art in that Studio! Probably the most interactive as well....and probably the most to cause trouble! tee hee
Your very own walker for the weekend? Hmmm seems to me "HE" should respect the pink!!! What he needs to get now when he gets back to Chicago is a degree in Pinkology. Yes, Pinkology...just for you. I know a few dales over there that can send him to the right school for this degree. But until then go with purple or red. Happy times little lady,
Willow

Madison, you are the loveliest piece of art in the whole gallery!

Hope you took the Architect for really really REALLY long walk to make up for that whole pink collar incident.

Brown dog kisses,
Dannan

We just found you Madison. You are indeed the most exquisite piece of art in that gallery!!!
Mom says you are gorgeous. We think so too. Are you going to obedience school yet. Mom says lots of them say six month old is time to start. She says she is glad she started basics with the Great Dane she used to have before that!! According to Mom, who has had several of the "giant" breeds, she says the reason she decided not to have anymore of them was the lifespan. She never had a Giant Schnauzer tho. She wanted to know if they live longer than some of the others.
Whew, sorry for the long comment! We will be back to visit. You are so pretty. And we are glad you are helping heal your parent's hearts.
Hugs
